Disc is made of green malachite, shallow, carved lotus leaf shape. Disc, with incised and bas-relief vein pattern. This disc contains beautiful patterns of malachite green. The mahogany carved Lotus branch for seat. Bright and dark wooden platter with, form bright color contrast.
Malachite is copper supergene mineral, due to the high volume of copper, so it is green or dark green, also known as the " green in". According to the" Ben Cao Gang Mu" set: " Shi Lusheng copper pit, but copper progenitor gas also, copper Ziyang gas and green, green for a long time is a stone, that of malachite green." Because of its color and its peculiar concentric patterns like peacock beautiful tail feathers, hence the name, and therefore particularly valuable.
