This pot straight mouth, long neck, a beast head shape large collar of binaural, drum abdomen, long a broadside. Pot cover has been lost. Hukou lower decorative triangular beast face pattern, for neck and foot with heavy ring, for ventral sides protruding band form field form grid, each grid are decorated to the dragon.
The kettle bottom inscriptions cast 7 lines of 29 characters:
Is the only month
Ji Gengwu, CAI

Statue of pot. The eyebrow
No Shou jiang,
Generation after generation of descendants 10 thousand years
Yong Bao share.
On the first day of Gengwu this day, Prince Cai Guo made this sacrifice a kettle, a long boundless, descendants 10 thousand years permanent treasure this pot used for Jixiang.
